9-10/03/2010 (Rosie): Sleep and Sleeping Sister

Yesterday was insane. I left at 8:20 am, and only got home at 8:45 pm. By that point I had either been on my feet* or doing complicated classwork for almost twelve hours straight, and I was tired. So I ate dinner, did my French homework (badly, as I found out today) and went to bed.
I had forgotten just how much I love pillows.
Today was pretty normal, but I happened to sneak into my sisters bedroom to "borrow" her hand cream, and I had to take a picture of her sleeping. She was just too cute!

*I should point out that those feet were wearing absolutely adorable pumps. And fishnets. With a pencil skirt. Not at all practical for climbing ladders and painting walls, but practicality isn't my main goal.

5-8/03/2010 (Rosie): Just That Cool

A person would think that when I'm on vacation and have nothing to do, I would be a great blogger and post my photos as soon as I take them. The opposite is true, And I spent most of the week in a semi-comatose state, watching Buffy and eating icing. I'm back now though, still eating icing and watching Buffy, but working on just about a million different things at the same time.

I managed to get out of the house and go skiing on Friday. The ice on the trees was so pretty!

I got a haircut! And wore my white faux fur coat, and my big black sunglasses.

Sunday night I made today's lunch. Yup, I pack a lunch everyday. I'm just that cool :)

I took some outfit photos today. And once again you guys get the cool one that wasn't really right for my other blog.

Posting should be back to normal now that I'm back at school and have a schedule/life again.

Hello again

So, I'm back. I realized that I would probably never actually start posting here again if I waited until I got my scattered photos together and figure out their dates. So instead, I'm starting afresh now. Lets just forget that little episode happened, okay?

Today, I went out driving for the second time in my life, then the third. My mother and instructor seem to think I'm doing well. The rest of the day I pretty much just procrastinated on my paper and learned about Tarot. I got this beginners Tarot thing which came with a deck and a book. I'm kind of frustrated with it, the cards don't feel right. A tarot deck should be old, and the cards should be heavy. If I actually get into this I'll shell out some cash for that feeling. I probably won't though, I don't really believe in the psychic or anything like that; I just think the cards are really cool. Besides, it's not like my deck won't get worn eventually. Here is a picture of my slobbish lifestyle, and Tarot cards.

06/03/2010 (Findlay) : A long while gone

Here are a lot of pictures. Info about what has been going on in my life is at the bottom. As you can imagine, this took a long time to upload. Enjoy slogging through all 33/34 of them. :D

This is my current desktop. It's me... creepin'

The Wonderful Book I am currently reading. :D

Very interesting posters. Apparently this is true in NYC. These buttons don't actually work in 75% of the places.

I really like graffiti, so there are a couple photos throughout.

Everyone loves the city market! I got a pesto baguette :D

Went for a walk at the Rec Center this morning. We went to the Dogpark and saw the future Q-plex site.

The sight of all these fallen trees was exspruciating. It was excedaringly sad. (I know, bad oak.)

My mother is a troll!?! :O

This will be quite the massive post. I haven't really been doing my duty since February. That's just not decent.

Points of Interest -
-My sister left for Katimavik for a 6 month Program. She will be in Ontario, and then Quebec, and finally PEI. I miss her.
-Zara's 18th Birthday.
-March Break Axis&Allies game with some of my best friends: Dan, Dave, Dominic and my cousin Ryan.-March Break in general. I like school, but everyone enjoys a break from time to time. It's quite nice to be with family for a while.
-Buying a new bag, and starting to read Jack Kerouac. I also bought a Fedora that fits me.
-Deciding what to do for the summer.
-Parties, we had a few goodbye/birthday parties for Zara. A lot of games were played, like Mafia and Kungfu, and we watched horrible movies, and good movies.
-Grace's visit. My great friend Grace McNee came down for the weekend, and it was delightful to see her again. The weather was crappy, so we watched "Some Like it Hot" with Marilyn Monroe, "Casablanca" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Those are the main things. Now, for an impressive picture count, mostly from four separate days.

2-4/03/2010 (Rosie): Assorted Randomness

I've got several day's worth of photos for you today. I've been so busy enjoying my March Break that I haven't really been doing much online other than watch old episodes of Bones and Buffy.

On Tuesday I reorganized the plastic ware cupboard. As you can see, my family believes in recycling, and I believe in cream cheese icing. I use the cream cheese tubs to bring my muffins in my lunch. Everyday. (I made around 250 zucchini muffins this summer, and I take one every single day because they are delicious!)

On Saturday I bought a new phone. My old phone was leading to bruised thumbs, because the keypad was icky, but this one is wonderful. I named her Elizabeth. (Yes, I name my stuff. ) I was bored yesterday, so I took some pictures.

Today there was a snow storm! Of course, it was completely wasted since I was home anyways, but who am I to turn down the challenge of taking pictures of snow? There was an adorable little sluchicle*, and I had to take a picture.

*Like an icicle, only made of slush.

1/03/2010 (Rosie): WITHOUT BEING ASKED

Do you know what I love? March Break. One whole week during which the most taxing thing I have to do is cook the occasional soya dog or let the dogs out. In fact, today I was in such a good mood I went out and shovelled the drive way WITH OUT BEING ASKED. I know, I'm so mature and helpful.

Timers on cameras are fun :)
